Highlights of Cozumel &
Folkloric Show -- This is one tour to take. You will drive into
downtown Cozumel, where you will be offered a free drink (turn it down)
and then be ushered into a theatre to see a folk show, featuring dancing
and music from the different regions of Mexico. The folkloric show
is very entertaining, and there is some real talent in the dancing.
Then, back on the bus to drive right up the middle of the island, where
you will stop for a break to purchase souvenirs. Back on the bus
once again, and out to the northern beaches. A stop at the beaches
gives you the opportunity to see some of the rock formations on Cozumel's
coast. Finally, you will drive all the way around the eastern part
of the island and back to the dock. This is an interesting tour
where you will hear a lot about Cozumel's history, and you will see the
actual living conditions in the various areas of the island.
