The Grand Hotel's website is easy to navigate, and it is certainly worth your time to explore the different packages and discounts that are available.  The photos of the different categories of rooms will give you a good idea of what to expect, and you can call the hotel's reservation number for assistance from their very friendly staff.   The hotel also offers numerous packages, which can be found on its website.

The Grand Hotel's rooms are "gift wrapped," sometimes in bright colors or stripes.  All rooms are air conditioned, and we can verify the air conditioning is very good. 

Here's our one travel tip for reserving a room at the Grand Hotel.  This is a unique destination, and for many visitors, a onetime visit.  Make the most of it, and spend a little more for one of the higher category rooms.  Years from now you will have forgotten what the difference was in rates, but you will retain the memories of the time you spent at the hotel.  Below is a photo from the balcony of our Category III room that might help you make up your mind.
