Guide to Helsinki Travel
We took the "City of Helsinki" tour at this port
during a Baltic Sea cruise,
and we knew we were in for a long three hours when the first stop was at a
church with a copper roof. This was followed by a stop outside of the
Olympic stadium (it was closed at the time), where the 1952 Olympic games were
held. Those were the tour highlights. We stayed in town at the end
of the tour, and had a better time exploring on our own. There is not a
lot to see in Helsinki, but it's a good opportunity to get off the ship and
stretch your legs.
